Walker County Chapter Holds Candidate Screenings

On October 5, 2010 the Walker County Chapter of the Alabama Police
Benevolent Association conducted political screenings at the Holiday Inn
Express in Jasper, Alabama. Screened were candidates for House District 13,
House District 14, and Senate District 5. Also screened were candidates for
the sheriff of Walker County.
Conducting the screening were Walker County Chapter President Adam Hadder,
Walker County Chapter Senior Vice President Steve Smith, Walker County
Chapter Board Member Patrick Ragsdale, Walker County Chapter member Blair
Huddleston, Walker County Chapter member Charles Tidwell, Walker County
Chapter member Shawn Kelley, Walker County Chapter member Gary Farrior,
Walker County Chapter member Scottie Wilkins, Northeast Alabama Chapter
member Chad Ginn, Northeast Alabama Chapter Board member Jason Windsor,
Alabama Division Vice President and Northeast Alabama Chapter President J.T.
Cartee, Alabama State Law Enforcement Chapter member Chris Grantham, and
Alabama Division Executive Director J.D. Hobbie.
The screening board of the Walker County Chapter endorsed House District 13
candidate Tommy Sherer, and House District 14 candidate Richard Baughn and
Senate District 5 candidate Greg Reed. The screening board went on to
endorse Sheriff John Mark Tirey for his fourth term.
