Northeast Alabama Chapter Presents Resolution to the Marshall County Commission on Health Care Coverage

The Marshall County Commission looks on as J.T. Cartee presents the resolution.

On August the 11th the Norhteast Alabama Chapter voted to present a resolution to the Marshall County Commission on September 14th.   The Purpose of this resolution was to ask the Commission to not cut health care coverage to the employees of Marshall County.

On September 14th, Chapter President, J.T. Cartee, presented the resolution to the county commission to try and convinced the members of that commission to vote in favor of the resolution.  This vote wasn't successful, but we stood up for what we thought was right. James Maze made a motion to change the benefits and this motion was seconded by Richard Kilgore and it passed by a unanimous vote. This wasn't a victory for the PBA, but we will continue to fight for our members.
