East Central Chapter Holds Candidate Screenings

On September 25, 2010 the East Central Chapter of the Alabama Police Benevolent Association conducted political screenings at the Holiday Inn Express in Oxford, Alabama. Screened were candidates for House District 32, House District 35, House District 36, House District 40, Senate District 11, and Senate District 12.

Conducting the screening were East Central Chapter President Lisa Weathers, East Central Chapter Senior Vice President John Friend, Alabama State Law Enforcement Chapter Senior Vice President Jon Riley, Alabama Division Senior Vice President Lance Price, and Alabama Division Vice President and Northeast Alabama Chapter President J.T. Cartee. Also providing his valuable assistance was Alabama Executive Director J.D. Hobbie.

At the end of a busy day, the screening board endorsed House District 32 candidate Barbara Boyd, House District 35 candidate Steve Hurst, House District 36 Randy Wood, House District 40 candidate Ricky Whaley, Senate District 11 candidate Jerry Fielding, and Senate District 12 candidate Del Marsh.
