Alabama State Law Enforcement Chapter Elects New Executive Board

The State Law Enforcement Chapter of the Alabama PBA met on April 23rd, 2011 in a regularly scheduled meeting.  Discussion was held on legislation that would affect state law enforcement officers through benefit and salary reduction.  Board members were updated on efforts by PBA to stop the bills.  Board members were also encouraged to contact their local legislators and express concern about the legislation.  President Dennis Hill was recognized for his 16 years of service as the State Law Enforcement Chapter President.  President Elect Jon Riley and Alabama PBA Executive Director J.D. Hobbie are shown presenting President Hill with a plaque recognizing his hard work and dedication to the chapter.  Finally, a new executive board was elected to serve the upcoming three year term.  President:  Jon Riley  Senior Vice President:  Gary Cooper  Vice President:  Lance Price  Secretary:  Chris Grantham.
